At Breyton, our top design priorities are not only functionality, lightness and aesthetics but, as a certified manufacturer, above all safety to guarantee maximum driving pleasure. Breyton wheels are developed according to ETRTO standards and specifications and are tested and approved by TÜV Rheinland and the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).
Based on the manufacturer's vehicle data, our engineers determine the possible application range for each wheel. For each wheel size and offset, the appropriate tire sizes and the corresponding wheel bolts are identified and, depending on the wheelbase, the need for spacers and their thickness is specified. The wheel arch must not be exceeded to the outside and the wheel with tire must have adequate clearance to the inside. The brakes must also have sufficient space.
The specifications are checked in person on the actual car and then documented in technical certificates based on the measurements taken by engineers of TÜV Rheinland.
Recently, the range of applications of Breyton wheels for the new BMW 5 Series Touring was reviewed by TÜV Rheinland. The new 5 Series Touring has a very wide range of installation options of our wheels. You can find more information on our homepage or in our current application list.
